Clay Delauney was born and raised in  Baltimore, MD. He moved to southern California when he was 18 to attend film school at Chapman University. After graduating he worked in the camera department on several features, commercials and IMAX films

where he distinguished his visual style.

Clay has directed several music videos and commercials. His commercial list includes clients such as Warrior Wear clothing, where he shot spots with Sean Sherk and Tim Sylvia, Chapman University in a spot with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Atomic Energy Bites, Greenwala.com and Toyota. In 2008 he completed his previous short film thriller TomThumb.
